Few years back,
Slate ended "the fray" and went with tiresome Facebook comments. Now,
Volokh Conspiracy -- my semi-replacement at the moment -- went to
Washington Post. Have to sign in there or use Facebook & it won't be free in six months except for .edu and .gov types. Didn't warn us -- just popped up mid-day. Tiresome business. Bye.

You might give reddit (BOTF or Geezers) a try. You have to be tolerant of Canadians on BOTF. Another is "talkradiosucks".
Thanks. Don't really like that more message board type format. Wasn't really a BOTF person either. Canadians are fine though.
Should have mentioned that on"Geezers" you have to be tolerant of Midwesterners.
