After the USSC
denied cert/a stay, Texas
executed the 15th woman so killed by the government since 1976. She was relatively young at 38 (her mother got a life sentence for her part in the act) and executed for actions from a decade ago. The
failed technical claim and mitigation arguments seem credible to me. The crime was horrible but question the need or justice of a death sentence, even if one allows that for a limited class of crimes.
