Supergirl's Boss is Ally McBeal?

It's somewhat hard for me to get into series television except for a few things these days so don't know about Supergirl. The first episode was fairly enjoyable with a pleasant lead and a few familiar faces (hey, it's the guy from Necessary Roughness!). Shall see.
