Two years ago, I read
War Made Easy (now a documentary) by Norman Solomon, largely about how the media enabled selling war through the years. So,
the piece in the
NYT last Sunday was not exactly news and Glenn Greenwald's posts on the matter the last couple days were rightly cynical. This includes the horses out of the barn realization (per a long one shot piece, while the enabling happened continuously, often in more flashy form) of what was right in front of their face. Yippee.
