Letterman's alma mater, Ball State, had a perfect season ... until its final game and tonight's lopsided bowl loss. Poor baby! I caught bits of some of the myriad of games, including the end of yesterday's game, where a team came back from 17-9, only to lose 24-21 (two failed two point conversions, blown coverage after a just made it first down clinching it with :16 left) by a sloppy finish. They weren't alone. These are college students -- after all, the professionals weren't all that great last weekend. So, annoying ... but, let's be fair.
