The assistant character is largely based on someone who now works for the Mets, but I'm not able to fully analyze the "concept" Billy Beane used. As
a film, it's pretty good, Brad Pitt portraying someone who does pretty good, but wants more. Middle portion drags a bit.
The daughter character has a few nice scenes. [Yes, it's her
voice.]
