Okay, so I turned off both
Zero Dark Thirty and
Life of Pi, watching about an hour combined, bored in both cases. Still I could determine how the torture scenes were used in one (mixed message) and where he got his name in the other. So, it wasn't a total loss.

If you'd hung in there for awhile with Pi, you'd have seen some remarkable shots of scenes of ocean life.
I guess with so many shows and the 'net and all, I have less patience these days but nice visuals only go so far too though I'm sure it has other things.
