A long time ago, I read the book and probably saw the PBS version of
this take on Don Quixote that allows Graham Greene to seriously address some religious themes in a serio-comic account of a simple parish priest and his Communist friend on the road. I read it again, very good, with an intro by John Edwards'
Four Trials (!) co-author.
