Rev. Joe -- Romans

As supplementary reading, reading a few Pauline epistles. Romans underlines the guy was a Jew -- might be an "apostle to the Gentiles," but still saw things through a Jewish mind-set, especially extended references to Jewish scriptures and focus on the "circumcised" that his Gentile readers probably often didn't find overall that interesting or maybe even understandable. This epistle, unlike some, also seems a bit too long -- a bit repetitive.
