I added some links to my quick debate thoughts. This
one, for instance, sounds right -- they both did well in their own way but Biden definitely came off as better qualified (he also refuted false talking points repeatedly), which to me was the bottom line. Also, to the degree Palin came off well, it just wasn't THAT well. No disaster, but not much net value. When you are behind, this isn't that useful. BTW, she slipped in something about a more powerful veep, but basically mumbled the whole thing, so I'm not sure exactly if she meant what some took her to mean.
