The Rays right away came back from 3-1 down and went on from there. Meanwhile, again the team that beat out the Mets is on the way to a quick exit, while the Cubs also seem to be on that road (again). Meanwhile, the veep debate was tiresome -- Biden repeatedly (coming off as pretty boring) going against McCain, no matter if directly relevant (
if useful), and Palin's stock answers (and anti-Obama lines). She did okay enough, and came off
likable at times, though had
enough slips for those paying attention. The moderator surely didn't provide much of a service overall.
