It all moves "Damages" closer to those political thrillers where unseen forces control the world, rules don't matter and most of the questions revolve around who's lying to whom and who knows what part of the truth.
Nat Hentoff (faux pacifist who supported the Iraq War etc.) might have been fired from the Village Voice, but this guy looks like him, no? Anyway, I'm tired of "unseen forces" plots; never a big fan. How about complex reality with a touch of fantasy gloss? It is dramatic enough. Maybe, that's why I have not been a big fan of much t.v. in recent years? Oh well. There's always Colbert.
