Ed Koch Dies

I was just reading about him missing the premiere of the new Koch documentary because of illness, not the first time the late eighties former mayor who we heard from time to time voicing political opinions and the like was in the news for health reasons. An old timer, stereotypical face of NYC, sometimes too conservative for my taste and eventually having the times pass him by, his heyday was kind of before I thought much about politics. RIP.
