The final weekend does have a bit of uncertainty left though less so after the first games. Giants/Dodgers won again. Not seeing Giants going 0-2 and the Dodgers 2-0, which would be needed to force a one game playoff. So, thinking AL Wild Card is the key.
The Mets won by one, some of the Braves bats resting. If it mattered, the Mets had a chance to make the Braves sweat, perhaps. The possible killer, which I happened to see part of, was Seattle (Red Sox beat Nats, so needed a win to hold serve for the second wild card spot) not taking advantage of a first and third opportunity late where only a sacrifice was needed to tie. They lost the game 2-1 over the Angels. Painful. Helped Yanks too.
Rays won, but they are just prepping for the playoffs. No more must wins. And, really the Yanks just need to win one even if others win out. Home field matters financially, but not sure how much for the win. I really don't want a Yanks/Red Sox Wild Card though guess if somehow the Red Sox manage to win it, it would be a bit amusing.
