Stealing Lust

This blog does not get many visitors though a few people looked at a couple Mike Royko posts (which should please a previous regular). One thing that gets some hits is references to erotic films (this is regarding soft porn on Showtime and the like). This may get a few hits in the future too.

The latest such film available on Showtime (sadly less quality stuff of late) is Stealing Lust, a generic title, summarized on the website: "For confident millennial Katie, three days of angry, sexy roommates, a cheating girlfriend, and a lemonade stand are no problem at all." From what I can tell, she's more of a bored millennial.  Not a very charming character.

Not much plot though admit to have not watched the thing straight thru or anything. I think the first sex scene comes off the best. All scenes have that glossy artificial look that turns me off. Plus, they are cut to avoid hard-core material (at least sometimes, there are hard-core penetration cuts) in a way that makes them at times annoyingly choppy. The sex scenes are often more sex noises than anything else.  OTOH, using closed captioning can be amusing. And, is helpful, since you often don't catch the words.

[The sex scenes can be fairly long though a little bit goes a long way, at least given the general lack of style.]

There is a notice that I referenced before (the production company will be familiar to those who check these things out) at the beginning that says things like they are adults and so forth as well as tossing in any reference to family relationships is fictional. Seems a bit weird -- do they think the viewer will think incest is actually happening? Guess it's technically illegal. The disclaimer is general -- it doesn't mean there is necessarily any sort of "family fun" in the film that will follow.

As to that title, again, not quite sure the point of it (some of these films have various titles).  One thing -- this is probably too creative on my part -- is that there is a Liv Tyler movie entitled Stealing Beauty.  The lead sorta looks like her.  Anyway, skipping thru the movie (you can skip forward and back ten minutes for my cable video on demand), the first woman seems the best. She has a bit of dialogue at the beginning (bitching about the millennial) and you get a nice shot of her ass.

Those here for this material might be interested in other political, legal, and review content.  Hey, it's possible.

ETA: Later on, I saw maybe my favorite scene in the film, a later scene that includes the main character sneaking into a house while the couple is having sex.  The scene is done well and I found it sexy.
