Rick Hasen discusses today's campaign finance "minimalist" (scare quotes intentional) ruling. I'm wary about campaign finance laws at times, but there should be some middle ground. And, to the degree there is room to debate as to "corruption," real minimalism should be used when striking down laws. And, the full flavor of the term understood. That is, e.g., Citizen United might have been right as to result somewhat, but not how it went.
