Supreme Court Watch: Order Day

As I noted last time, the "Supreme Court" did not expressly say that extending an eviction moratorium would require congressional legislation. Kavanaugh is the only person who wrote an opinion. It might be a valid long term prediction, plus the Biden Administration might not want to "poke the bear" and threaten other executive action taken. But, it repeatedly being stated (including in today's White House Briefing) that the "Supreme Court" said or ruled when only Kavanaugh was involved is wrong. I wish they would stop saying it.

[OTOH, maybe it's in their interests to spin things. Still bothered me to keep on hearing it framed that way.]

And, even if SCOTUS or SCOTUSBlog does not want to put it on their calendars as such, today is a scheduled summer Order Day. As usual, it is even more boring than a usual boring order list. But, there you go. Two more scheduled.
