Per the 20th Amendment, the new Congress began today, with a special preview (ethics) first being reported on why the governing party are assholes. With this, the Garland nomination is officially dead. The whole thing is disgusting, including how Democrats (including at the Convention) didn't do more to underline how wrong it was not to even give the guy a hearing.
